Bagaimana Memandang Diri Sendiri
"Bagaimana kamu memandang diri kamu sendiri?" biksu balik bertanya.

But if a lot of people call you evil, while you think you're a floating angel, probably you want to check your head whether there are small horns on top of there instead of wondering why the wings on your back haven't grown yet ;)

Science and Religion
Got this from Joke of The Day. The colored sentences are the reason why I upload this into my blog.
The red one is because I hear this sentence all the time from so many people until I feel I can't stand it anymore. The green one is because I wonder what they're gonna react when I give this as an answer ahaha. The blue one is because this is what all of us people should be. Smart and exploring science, accepting and not ignoring the fact, yet never lost a grip on faith. Then maybe world will become a better place for us.
Science and Religion...
The following is supposedly an actual question given on a University of Washington chemistry mid-term. The answer by one student was so "profound" that the professor shared it with colleagues, which is, of course, why we now have the pleasure of enjoying it as well.
Bonus Question: Is Hell exothermic (gives off heat) or endothermic (absorbs heat)? Most of the students wrote proofs of their beliefs using Boyle's Law (gas cools when it expands and heats when it is compressed) or some variant. One student, however, wrote the following:
First, we need to know how the mass of Hell is changing in time. So we need to know the rate at which souls are moving into Hell and the rate at which they are leaving. I think that we can safely assume that once a soul gets to Hell, it will not leave. Therefore, no souls are leaving. As for how many souls are entering Hell, let's look at the different Religions that exist in the world today. Most of these religions state that if you are not a member of their religion, you will go to Hell. Since there is more than one of these religions and since people do not belong to more than one religion, we can project that all souls go to Hell. With birth and death rates as they are, we can expect the number of souls in Hell to increase exponentially. Now, we look at the rate of change of the volume in Hell because Boyle's Law states that in order for the temperature and pressure in Hell to stay the same, the volume of Hell has to expand proportionately as souls are added.
This gives two possibilities:
1. If Hell is expanding at a slower rate than the rate at which souls enter Hell, then the temperature and pressure in Hell will increase until all Hell breaks loose.
2. If Hell is expanding at a rate faster than the increase of souls in Hell, then the temperature and pressure will drop until Hell freezes over.
So which is it? If we accept the postulate given to me by Teresa during my Freshman year that, "it will be a cold day in Hell before I sleep with you," and take into account the fact that I slept with her last night, then number 2 must be true, and thus I am sure that Hell is exothermic and has already frozen over.
The corollary of this theory is that since Hell has frozen over, it follows that it is not accepting any more souls and is therefore, extinct...leaving only Heaven thereby proving the existence of a divine being...

Tanpa Jarak Orang Tidak Bisa Berhubungan
I collect some of his books such as Doa Sang Katak I and II. I read all the mini stories in those books and decided to post some of them that gave me a kick in my heart. This is only one of them.
What makes this story is able to knock out my 'cruella de ville' heart is very simple. Because it is sooo dang true. I think that everybody who ever had a crush knew that sadly sometimes we interpreted it as true love.
While others might need only a month or a week, me, being a 'slow' person, it took me more than 5 years to finally admit to my self that I trully want him. and starting from that moment, nobody else will matter no matter how perfect they might be. (mr. reeves could be an exception though...hohohoho...just kidding dear...)
I hope this article able to encourage people (who might be in the verge of making any crucial decision right now) to test their 'love' not only through time and but more importantly, through space.

Hakim mengusulkan suatu rencana bersiasat.
Sang raja sangsi tetapi memutuskan mau mencoba.

Daniel Craig as James Bond - Continued
Wednesday morning and I read this article.
Quoting from detikhot that "Ciri Khas James Bond hilang dalam Quantum of Solace"
For you who doesn't want to bother to click the link, the missing parts are "Bond, James Bond" and "Shaken not stirred"
Everyone who knows me should've known by now that I think James Bond was lost since "Casino Royale". The one who is in the movie is not, I repeat is not James Bond, I prefer to call him James Blonde.

Daniel Craig as James Bond
The most famous British secret agent in the world (at least that is what I know of)
Until now there are 6 actors trying to portray the image of the spy, Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Bronsnan, and Daniel Craig.
I only watched 2 of them: Pierce Bronsnan and Daniel Craig.
Speaking of Daniel Craig, I often hear lots of positive comments about him especially from boys (or man? :D). They said that he is very cool, macho, and 'keren'. Very suitable to play James Bond. That is something I can not understand you guys!
Yes, I admit that since Mr.Craig, James Bond actions have been more thrilling and exciting. But that's it. For me, every time I hear the words "James Bond" the image that pops in my head is a playboy, passionate, handsome, sophisticated full of gadgets spy. An image that is supported by the author himself. Regarding him (means James Bond), Ian Fleming (the creator) wrote in The Times, October 21, 1962 (and I quote) "James Bond is a highly romanticized version of a true spy" and until now, I find it hard to find the romantic side of Mr. Craig. All I can see is the 'killing-aura' all over him. Where is the passion??? He looks so angry all the time instead of cool.
For me, he is not "the James Bond" I always imagine all this time.
Sorry Mr. Craig and his fans.

To forgive is human, to forget is divine??
Even though I only hear half side of the story, however it makes me wonder is it possible an affair considered as an appropriate things to do under some circumstances? Or an affair is just an affair and will always be an affair no matter for what reason.
Although many relationships recovered from this problem, is it possible to completely heal the scar? While it’s hard enough to forgive the affair, can we really forget the affair? How much time do we need to feel secure again every minute or every second when your partner not around? Can you be sure, that you will not wonder your partner will do the same thing in the future? Once a cheater will always be a cheater, people said. So what the meaning of forgive when you are not able to forget?
Think also about the third person involved. If a couple wants to continue their relationship, this person must go. Is it better to end the affair right away without considered their feelings or end the affair slowly and hurt them even more?
Personally, I can say out loud that I will not accept any affair, but when this problem comes to hit me, what am I going to do? Am I sure that I will act like what I believe in? Or I’ll be blinded by my own feeling. It’s always a fifty-fifty chance nobody knows. After all, love means never having to say you’re sorry…right?
