I've been dragging my ass off keliling-keliling Tanjong Pagar and enter every possible bridal boutique trus duduk dengan manis mendengarkan celotehan manis para sales soal wedding package yang mereka sediain sambil terkadang tertawa tercekikik karena ada beberapa sales yang lucu banget jadi karena sibuk ketawa ga perhatiin gaun yang seharusnya merupakan focus utama. *duuh*

My appetite menggila... jadi kalo biasanya dah makan kyk babi kelaparan sekarang kyk babi gila kelaparan... laper mulu... mungkin karena capek keliling-keliling sampe malem. kayaknya bentar lagi Vincci nya minta pensiun.

Merasa kyk maen film 27 dresses karena sibuk nyobain baju mulai dari yang super ringan kyk peri sampe yang berat kyk baby killer whale. Yang model mermaid sampai jalannya harus kyk Ariel si putri duyung sampe yang model balon dimana hengky bisa ngumpet dibaliknya dengan leluasa.

American Idol 8: Top 13
Name : Lil Rounds
Song : The Way You Make Me Feel
My Thought: She's definitely a good singer, don't know why but I've not been feeling it. Good singer, great pitch but why can't I feel the 'it' factor. Maybe it’s because of the song. Btw, absolutely agree with Mr. Cowell. Hate the outfit. I think she's safe.

American Idol 8: Official Top 13

Now that we have our top 13 contestants let's do some predictions based on previous seasons:
Season One: Female (Kelly Clarkson) vs Male (Justin G)
I didn't watch the show, but from what I heard it was a total victory for miss clarkson.
Season Two: Male (Our honey bear Ruben) vs Male(Clay Aiken)
I watch the show since top 4 and I think they got the best top 3 ever. I think clay is deserve to win but I'm still happy that Ruben won.
Season Three: Female (Fantasia) vs Female (Diana D).
I didn't watch the show fully only several episodes, but for me somehow I feel that this is the worst season ever. I hated most of the contestants except fantasia and jasmine trias.
Season Four: Female (Carrie) vs Male (Bo Bice)
I watched the whole show, it was predictable that carrie would win this. She is pretty, good singer, girl next door and she sings country. Perfect combination. I hate constantine btw.
Season Five: Male (Taylor H) and Female (Katherine McPhee)
I watched the whole show, Elliot Yamin is one of my favorite contestant ever. Believe it of not I always have difficulty remembering who is the winner of season five. It's not usual for me, a big fans of American Idol. Somehow I managed to block that old silver fox in my head. I hate that guy! I think he really is hideous. I love Chris Daughtry. I'm happy he does well in the music industry. He is the most successfull 3rd runner up I guess.
Season Six: Female (Jordin S) and Male (Blake)
I watched the whole show, I believe this season has the most not so talented contestants ever except for Melinda, Lakisha and Jordin. I also believe that this season has the worst second runner up ever.
Season Seven: Male (David) vs Male (David)
I watched the whole show except the final episode (where was I?) The 2 final contestants are predictable. The hottest constestant ever is in this show. Michael John. I can not forget the bohemian rhapsody he sang.
How about season 8?
I'm guessing Kris Alen will be the first one eliminated while Jasmine will be the second.
Michael will be the third. I still dont get it how he won over Anoop?
Scott, Lil, Adam and Danny could be the top 4. Who's cruel enough to eliminate a blind person? :P
Anoop, Matt and Jorge could be in the top 6. Even though I really like Anoop.
Allison, Megan and Alexis could be in the top 9
I'm guessing if Adam keeps performing like this, he could be the next David C. While Lil is the next Melinda D. I don't know whether after his gay pictures are in the internet her female fans could be decreased drastically.

My thought: I was really surprised. The shouty boy actually can sing and I believe that this is the best first performance compare to group 2 or even group 1. I don’t like the song btw.

Recipe: Spaghetti Aglio Olio
My mum hates pasta, but she managed to eat the pasta if I cooked it ala Aglio Olio
Ingredients:
150 gr pasta (I prefer spaghetti/angel hair)
3 cloves garlic (minced)
2 cayenne pepper (cut)
3 smoked ham (potong memanjang)
Cooking oil
salt and pepper to taste
Parmesan cheese.
Water
Directions:
1. Boil water, put salt and taste. Put 1 tablespoon cooking oil and boil your pasta until al dente or as instructed then drain.
2. Heat the pan and cooking oil, saute garlic and cayenne pepper until fragrant and change color. Add the smoked ham. Saute until it change color.
3. Toss the pasta, saute a bit. Add the salt and pepper, mix well.
4. Ready to serve.
For 2 people.

Recipe: Mommy's Shrimp
Okay.. I finally decided to name my new recipe like that since this is my first recipe that got approved by my mother. For your information, my mother is very picky on food. So this is quite accomplishment for me hehehe
Mommy's Shrimp
Ingredients:
100 gr/10 medium shrimp
1.5 tablespoons butter
1-1.5 tablespoons sweet soy sauce (bango)
1 tablespoons light soy sauce (lee kum kee)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
0.5 onion (cut)
2 slice of ginger (cut into thin stick)
2 cayenne peppers (cabe rawit, gw juga baru tau) (optional)
1.5 limes
salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
1. Peel the shrimps and deveined then marinate with 1 lime. Wait for 5 minutes. Wash before cooking.
2. Heat the pan and cooking oil, saute the ginger until it turn white and toss the garlic and cayenne peppers. Keep sauteing until the garlic starts to change color then toss the onion. Cook until the onion a bit soft.
3. Toss the shrimp and cook until the shrimp turn pink.
4. Put the sweet soy sauce, light soy sauce, stir and simmer a while with medium heat.
5. Put the salt and pepper. Stir. Taste. Turn off the heat. Ready to serve. You can add the 0.5 lemon if you like.

Note:
1. Lee kum kee light soy sauce is not only salty but also sweet. Put extra sweet soy sauce if your light soy sauce is salty only.

Botanical Garden
I went to botanical garden almost 3 weeks ago, but I've been very busy never have the chance to upload the pictures. Usually I upload my photos on my flicker, but the I feel that my blog lately become too wordy, plain and no pictures :P
Attractions:
- You should visit bensten around sunset, so can see the golden ray of light as the background of the lovely gazebo. Fantastic.
- Rain forest jungle. I dare not to go inside the jungle. First because it was already late and dark. Second because it was stated the jungle is natural, which automatically translated into my brain as full of insects and snakes. So bye bye jungle.
- National Orchid garden. You have to pay $5 for entrance fee which I find very worth it. The orchids are fantastic, gorgeous and fabulous. I swear to you I'm not lying.
- Ginger Garden, quite okay. Nothing special except the fake waterfall perhaps.
I didn't visit every attractions because of 2 main reasons. First our visit was last minute decision so we went there around 4 PM and second is because my poor feet were 'screaming' asking to be relieved from duty :D
PS: I highly recommend this place among 'Must See Places' in Singapore. Well maybe my suggestion is a bit subjective since I luuuuuuv flower so much.

American Idol 8: Hollywood week Day 4
I know I know...
Very very late review :P
But here it is..
1. Adam Lambert sang Believe by Cher. Personally I hate the song, but Adam twisted the tone into some kind of stage performance and because I like him since the group week, so I choose him. Btw, Simon gave him a thumb up.
2. Matt Giraud the dueling piano player who reminds Simon of Elliot (I dont know why, I prefer Elliot more) is also impressive with his piano. Don't know why but I dont like it too much. Not my fave contestant. Kara loved it very much, she gave him standing ovation along with Randy and Paula. Simon smiled. Not bad.
3. Jamar Rogers. Ngg.. it's okay for me. I thought his voice is very unique and memorable. I grow to like him more and more to be honest. Paula said very nice, kara nodded and mr. cowell smiled.
4. Danny Gokey the Robert Dewey Jr. I like him from his first audition, but the feeling is going down don't know why. Maybe it is moved to Jamar. Wait I think I know why, maybe because I feel he's a bit typical (serak2 dan terengah2 itu loh) and ngg... i kinda feel he only really match with very specific songs like kiss of a rose to be example. Paula did the lasso throwing thingy (3 times, OMG) and grinning excitedly. Simon smiled.
5. Anoop Desai sang My Prerogative. I just love this dude!! Randy nodded, Kara smiled.
6. Jorge Nunez the Mark Anthony wannabe. It's okay for me. Not a fave. Paula danced.
7. Scoot Macintyre sang Home by Chris. Okay, this is another dude that I really love. Especially since I think his voice is the best in this season but hearing he sang the song to be honest I was a bit disappointed. I just dont think his voice is 'cucok' for this song and he is a bit outshined by chris. For me, chris left a very memorable performance on this song. Kara smiled, Randy nodded, Paula gave standing ovation.
8.Kendall Beard sang Carrie Underwood's Before He Cheats. She is a bit shaky. Not a fave.
9. Stevie Wright gave just okay performance. Too bad I like her audition, so now I'm confused.
10. Lil Rounds If I ain't got you by Alicia Keys, okay with her audition, hate the first day of hollywood, and like the final performance. Another confusing choice.
11. Kristin Mcnamara sand Because of You by Kelly Clarkson. Didn't know her voice until the group peformance and wowed by her last performance. I love her sexy but strong voice. Love her! One of my fave from now on. Randy looked approved and Paula nodded along.
12. Mishavonna Henson, I honestly dont know what to say. She is not sort of my type, but Randy bite his thumb.
13. Tatiana Del Toro, I am annoyed with this girl. Especially her laugh. She sounds like Janice from Friends. But her voice is okay though, I think maybe if she choose the right song, she can be really good. Paula smiled, Randy's jaw dropped, Simon smiled in a weird way.
14. Alexis Grace sang Before he cheats, I think just well ordinary. Nothing special but she is better than Kendall Beard for me.
15. Kenny Hoffpauer. Who is he?? I didn't event know he exist in this competition until the last performance. He is just okay. Not a fan.
16. Jasmine Murray. I love this girl. She made me fall in love with Fergie's song. Passed
17. Nathaniel Marshall looks more macho when holding and playing a guitar. His voice is also better. He passed.
18. Joanna Pacitti, that poor girl forgot the lyric. Her performance was a disaster. No need further comment. Passed.
19. Casey Carlson, I like this girl. I think she is just likeable, and I love her voice color. Too bad she forgot the lyric. Cross the finger folks! Passed. Woo hoo.
20. Stephen Fowler. I love his hollywood day 1 and day 2, but this man forgot the lyric after so very much convinced he is not going to and after he asked to restart all over again he forgot, again and slamed the piano. The judges looked annoyed (yes, even paula) Passed.
21. Nick Mitchell or Norman Gentle. Simon hated him for the first and me also. Randly laugh, Paula clapped. Passed.
22. Anne Marie Boskovich, I love her voice, country type. Passed.
23. Ju'not Joner. OMG, I love his voice. A bit smokey but I like his better than Danny Gokey. Passed.
24. Kaylan Loyd sang If I ain't got you. Ordinary, not memorable. Sorry. Next...(Simon stopped that poor girl performance)
25. Leneshe Young, personally I love this girl and her performance is also okay, but she didn't make the cut. Eventhough Randy and Simon looked enjoy her perfomance
26. Kai Kalama, something wrong with the dude's voice. Poor guy. He passed though.
27. Michael Sarver. Wow. Very powerfull voice. Kara sang a long, Mr. Cowell smiled. He passed.
28. India Morrison. Her group performance was way better than solo perfomance. It was a disaster.
Okay, I think all I mentioned above with exceptional of Leneshe and India, all made it through. Btw Michael Castro didn't make it.

11. Kristin Mcnamara sand Because of You by Kelly Clarkson. Didn't know her voice until the group peformance and wowed by her last performance. I love her sexy but strong voice. Love her! One of my fave from now on. Randy looked approved and Paula nodded along.
12. Mishavonna Henson, I honestly dont know what to say. She is not sort of my type, but Randy bite his thumb.
13. Tatiana Del Toro, I am annoyed with this girl. Especially her laugh. She sounds like Janice from Friends. But her voice is okay though, I think maybe if she choose the right song, she can be really good. Paula smiled, Randy's jaw dropped, Simon smiled in a weird way.
14. Alexis Grace sang Before he cheats, I think just well ordinary. Nothing special but she is better than Kendall Beard for me.
15. Kenny Hoffpauer. Who is he?? I didn't event know he exist in this competition until the last performance. He is just okay. Not a fan.
16. Jasmine Murray. I love this girl. She made me fall in love with Fergie's song. Passed
17. Nathaniel Marshall looks more macho when holding and playing a guitar. His voice is also better. He passed.
18. Joanna Pacitti, that poor girl forgot the lyric. Her performance was a disaster. No need further comment. Passed.
19. Casey Carlson, I like this girl. I think she is just likeable, and I love her voice color. Too bad she forgot the lyric. Cross the finger folks! Passed. Woo hoo.
20. Stephen Fowler. I love his hollywood day 1 and day 2, but this man forgot the lyric after so very much convinced he is not going to and after he asked to restart all over again he forgot, again and slamed the piano. The judges looked annoyed (yes, even paula) Passed.
21. Nick Mitchell or Norman Gentle. Simon hated him for the first and me also. Randly laugh, Paula clapped. Passed.
22. Anne Marie Boskovich, I love her voice, country type. Passed.
23. Ju'not Joner. OMG, I love his voice. A bit smokey but I like his better than Danny Gokey. Passed.
24. Kaylan Loyd sang If I ain't got you. Ordinary, not memorable. Sorry. Next...(Simon stopped that poor girl performance)
25. Leneshe Young, personally I love this girl and her performance is also okay, but she didn't make the cut. Eventhough Randy and Simon looked enjoy her perfomance
26. Kai Kalama, something wrong with the dude's voice. Poor guy. He passed though.
27. Michael Sarver. Wow. Very powerfull voice. Kara sang a long, Mr. Cowell smiled. He passed.
28. India Morrison. Her group performance was way better than solo perfomance. It was a disaster.
Okay, I think all I mentioned above with exceptional of Leneshe and India, all made it through. Btw Michael Castro didn't make it.

Food Reviews: Kenny Rogers @ Johor Baru
Demi memperpanjang svp, akhirnya kemaren kita bertiga (mommy, me and my fiance) berbondong2 ke Johor Baru and ate Kenny Rogers since from the last visit, I already craved for it.
Berhubung di Indo itu porsinya guede buanget, akhirnya kita sepakat cuma pesan 1/2 meal package (includes: 1/2 chicken, 3 side side dish: aromatic rice, fruit salad, potato salad and 1 muffin) and 1 side dish (mashed potato) ala carte.
Gak lama kemudian muffin kita dateng, pertama2 kirain complimentary while waiting for the main course dan bukan muffin dari paket karena biasanya muffinnya montok kok yang ini kuyus ya... Ternyata itu muffin paket tapi untungnya rasanya lumayan enak kok.
And eng ing eng... ga lama kemudian pesanan kita datang... cihuy... slurpps and kita cuma bisa melongo :o
Ayamnya lebih imut (ga sejumbo di Jkt yang bagaikan burung unta) tapi yang paling bikin our jaws drop ya porsi 3 side dishnya waduh mak seiprit :P
beda banget dah ama yang di jkt yang semua serba jumbo dumbo.
But the good news is the chicken taste the same (what i luv about the chicken from Kenny Rogers is its skin! tipis, tasty and crunchy) and to be honest I think the aromatic rice is better, lebih wangi ga cuma berasa butter doang, mirip kyk nasi uduk.
Trus mashed potatonya lebih halus, tapi gravy nya kurang asin. Kalau di Jkt, mashed potatonya ga sehalus ini (masih berasa bongkah2an kentang) tapi gravynya lebih asin and tasty.
Potato saladnya juga enak loh, kurang lebih sama kyk yang di Jkt.
To sum it up:
Tastylicious (I completely made this word up):
- roasted chicken (ennoe's food choice award!)
- potato salad
menurut gw potato saladnya itu enak banget, paling enak diantara side yang kita pesan
- aromatic rice
Grade B menu:
- mashed potato
aslinya tidak sebanyak ini dan halus bgt kyk makanan bayi
- muffin
Yang kemarin makan kok muffinnya kurus ya tenggelam didalam cetakan kertasnya :(
